My journey with Ginny started in February this year. At 47 years of age and with two young kids, peri-menopause hit and comfort eating finally caught up with me. In the space of ten years and with multiple contributing factors my weight had continuously crept up. It wasn’t until I caught sight of myself in a photo that I realised I didn’t recognise the person staring back at me. My motivation was easy, I wanted to live for my kids and enjoy wearing clothes and looking good. With Ginny’s help, I have been able to lose 9kg on the 12-week course. Her advice and knowledge on nutrition was just what I needed to kickstart myself into better eating. I love that Ginny works with me to adapt my eating habits, so I don’t need to feel deprived of my favourite foods. Also, the understanding I now have on the huge changes my body is going through are invaluable. The best moment for me was when my son (aged 10) stopped me and looked me up and down and said, ‘mum you are looking really healthy.’ Ginny’s workshops give advice on exercise as well as nutrition and she has a wealth of knowledge on new food products to try.
