#210 Tofu Scramble Recipe

If you are scared of or unsure of tofu, give this a try:

For the best texture, freeze the tofu and defrost just before use.

Tofu Scramble 2

Makes 2 serves

Ingredients:

1 300g block of Organic Firm Tofu

6 spring onions, thinly sliced

1 green chili, seeds removed, finely sliced

2 Tbsp. Nutritional Yeast

Coriander, handful fresh, finely chopped

1 tbsp. Olive Oil

1 garlic clove, crushed

2 tbsp. soy sauce

 

Instructions:

1. Heat oil on a medium heat and cook garlic, onions and chilli until fragrant.

2. Drain the tofu. Use a kitchen towel to soak up excess water.

3. Crumble the tofu into the pan. Allow to brown. Add the soy sauce and stir well. Heat through, then add the nutritional yeast and coriander.

4. Cook for another 2-3 minutes and serve.
