#122 How much Exercise do I need to do?
In the program, I teach my clients to exercise for health, mental health and longevity.
But to never exercise as punishment or penance for overeating. You cannot offset poor food choices with exercise- believe me, I've tried!
The numbers just don't stack up 60 mins of hard slog on the treadmill gives you the equivalent of one cookie time cookie, a slice of cake or 1 chocolate chip muffin.
When it comes to maintaining your weight loss those extra exercise calories are golden. But thrashing yourself while you are in a calorie deficit can be very counterproductive.
