No deprivation, no beating yourself up, no diet mentality. Enjoy the 20% guilt-free.
Keeping planned indulgent eats in this 20% container has great results both mentally, metabolically and helps to prevent plateaus.
I find it so interesting how my clients choice of free meals changes over time.
Monday - Friday I eat clean, drink 4L water and train - it is non-negotiable.
But at the weekend I celebrate life with a little indulgent food and get some rest.
Make sure that you are celebrating life with food NOT rewarding yourself for a good week with food and not binge eating your way through the weekend. Plan these joy eats carefully. You are still eating on your plan you have just planned some food that you would not normally eat during the week.
