#90 Failing to get the best results
It is true because you really can't out-exercise or out-think poor food choices. No amount of 'thinking your self thin' will work if you eat Tim Tams all day.
However, the perfect food plan for you is not the answer on its own either. I do have an awesome food protocol that works perfectly for women over 40. But unless you can stick to it and be consistent for the rest of your life it won't work. There are better ways to permanent change which do involve learning how to eat best for your body and life stage but also involve some thought work.
The key is kind of surprising, you have to stop listening to your brain! And you have to embrace failure like a madwoman. Make every failure an opportunity to get stronger and fail your way to success.
My clients with the most fails have the best permanent results. Think about how you learn to do anything from walking to sport, to playing an instrument. We learn from failing. Have strategies in place ahead of time to deal with failures, negative self-talk and self-sabotage.
Be prepared to change your beliefs and self-talk as well as your food choices and lifestyle.
